Horley's fireworks are Saturday 17 October, £6 and advance tickets only. Gatton's Halloween is on the 25th, with Elijah at St Mary's and library events.

Reigate’s autumn diary has no theatre in it this year. The Harlequin in Redhill has been shut since September 2023 because of RAAC concrete, and its roof replacement is still going through planning. So the next six weeks belong to Gatton Park, the libraries, St Mary’s Church and one big night in Horley: the Horley Lions fireworks on Saturday 17 October, three weeks before Bonfire Night.

Half term fills the middle of it. Surrey’s October break runs for two weeks this year, 19 to 30 October, and Gatton Park’s Halloween Witches and Wizards on Sunday 25 October falls in the middle. Before that come Mendelssohn’s Elijah at St Mary’s on 3 October and a string of free library talks.

Every entry below was read from the organiser’s own page on 28 or 29 September 2026 and links back to it. Check the link before you set off, as dates and times can change. For places that are open whatever the month, see things to do in Reigate.
